Oh Lord is this place pretty!

Besides its quiche, Lorraine is well known for other things, many I’ve heard of or known about but didn’t realize from where they originated: Baccarat crystal, the Maginot Line, Joan of Arc )who was born in Domremy), Mirabelle plums, Bergamot boiled candy, Madelaine cooks (after Stanislav:s housemaid) and Nancy macaroons (invented in 1793 by two nuns). Fountain of knowledge me :)

From the stained glass windows in St. Leon’s Church, and UNESCO World heritage sites-Place Stanislas (previously Place Royale) being the most impressive–to the narrow cobbled streets and numerous side-walk cafes, as well as the minicured lawns and part areas, I love it!
